Hi Steffen

It would be nice to offer the possibility to integrate the players of public television stations such as

ZDF mediathek (http://www.zdf.de/ZDFmediathek/hauptnavigation/startseite/#/hauptnavigation/startseite)
SF videoportal (http://videoportal.sf.tv)

If you think that interest is too particular, maybe you could make that configurable, i.e. by typoscript or XML files.

Hi,

within the GSoC project i mentor there will be one feature: a wizard 
that use original urls from video portal and process it to a usable url 
for the media player.

Example: You use the url
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkI7LONoiPI&playnext_from=TL&videos=QRvDYjnrJ4Y&feature=grec_index
and it will processed to
http://www.youtube.com/v/KkI7LONoiPI?fs=1

This allows you to simply copy the url from browser and use it.
Now following video portals are supported:
youtube, dailymotion, sevenload, vimeo, clipfish, mtv and google.

If there is any portal we forgot please mention it here, thx.
