[TYPO3-dev] Install Tool: Change of DB password field to "password" input needless?

I have just seen that the DB password is now in a "password" input field 
instead of a "text" field.
It's a good idea to handle it like this, but if you know the Install 
Tool very well, you can find the DB password in the option "Edit 
typo3conf files" and then "localconf.php".

So, is the change to a password field needless? You always can get the 
DB password if you have access to the Install Tool.
