Hi developers,
for all of you starting with Extbase but wanting some help in form of
documentation, we finished the quickstart guide during the T3Board in
Laax. See the news below.
Check out also the typo3v4-mvc newsgroup.
Thanks to Jochen, Sebastian and all contributors; Extbase is going to be
fun!

Franz
During the TYPO3 Snowboardtour in Laax last week the Extbase quickstart
documentation was improved and finished by Franz Ripfel from A.BE.ZET.
It´s aim is to help you get a first impression of how Extbase-Extensions
are working and what to do to get started with your own first selfmade
Extbase Extension.
The Quickstart shows you important code points within the demo Extension
blog_example and guides you through a step by step example extension
called Fridgemaster, which is made for controlling the contents of your
fridge(s).

In case you are not happy with the english quickstart version, A.BE.ZET
plans to publish a german version soon on http://www.typo3-profibuch.de,
which will be extracted from the upcoming second edition of "Das TYPO3
Profihandbuch".
Furthermore a complete german In-depth-reference book of Extbase and Fluid
with the title "Zukunftssichere TYPO3-Extensions mit Extbase und Fluid"
(written by Jochen Rau and Sebastian Kurfürst) will be published soon.
