I've contacted Mads at the end of 2009 and here's part of his answer:

"I can see from the TER that it is still being appreciated by lots of 
people. Although it's been a while since I worked on this project, I'm 
not quite ready to pass on the extension key."


I've just sent him a notice so he knows this discussion is going on.
