[TYPO3-dev] version error in TSRef?

I just called my bookmark for the current TSRef [1] and then the HTML-
Version and got confused about the version in URL.

I thought the version of TSRef is the same than the TYPO3-version it 
belongs. 
But at the moment we have TYPO3 V4.3.1 and TSRef 4.4.0 as the extension 
doc_core_tsref has this version as statet on [1]

was it an error or on purpose?
