A pretty limited point of view don't you think? The whole V5 project
is just one more (potentially very good) PHP framework without V4. Its
significance is almost entirely due to the fact that it's associated
with an actual, shipping, used-in-production-all-over-the-world CMS.

V4 and V5 need each other.
