Never had to take these kind of decisions, since we always buy used cars and
other stuff that has proven to be reliable. I simply don't care if the new
BMW might be better than the current model, since both of them will hit my
"personal" streets not before 2020. Until then they can have as many
callbacks, rebuilds or modifications as they like, they could even kick this
model completely - I just don't care. Did I mention that the virtual machine
I am currently using for mails and newsgroups still is a working copy of my
10 year old W2K workstation and we do most of our web graphics with
Macromedia Fireworks MX?
This is why I guess many people will happily work with TYPO3 4.xxx without
caring when Phoenix will "hit the streets". If it will be available soon,
fine - if not, so what? It won't lower the quality of the system I am
currently using, so nothing to be afraid of and no reason to hustle.
