Reading this thread it doesn't seem strange that there aren't many 
sites/applications based on FLOW3 around...

As I said earlier, if you want community support for your new framework 
the community should feel that it is also their 'baby'. Lack of 
communication, a series of alpha releases with major changes, not the 
ingredients of a good relationship with your community.

The FLOW3 team needed a "hint" (a direct link to this thread in the 
FLOW3 core list) to reply in this thread.

The things above can all be explained easily and they have their 
reasons, but it does not add to a good connection with the community.

What can help restore confidence in FLOW3? Maybe a nice real world 
example of what it is capable of. It doesn't have to be a new original 
killer application, build something with the DMOZ data set to show that 
it is easy to handle a large amount of data...
