[TYPO3-dev] Do bugfixes to trunk, rev 5591 apply to 4.2.9 or a later Version of Typo3?

Hi List,

hope this is the right place to ask:

1. Im Monitoring this issue on the bugtracker:
http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=9984

2. In the Notes I found:
Steffen Kamper (developer), 14.06.09 22:32
committed to trunk, rev 5591

3. My Question:
Do bugfixes to trunk, rev 5591 apply to 4.2.9 or a later Version of Typo3?

I have looked into
http://forge.typo3.org/repositories/show/typo3v4-core
but could not easily find a relation between trunk/rev and the related 
Typo3 version.

Any hints?
