Actually, you should have gotten a reply, at least it looks like that
when I look at the issue tracking system.

Regarding cooperation between release manager's and the security team,
it is actually quite good, but we intentionally did not want to mix a
release fixing too many bugs with a security release in order to make
the likeliness of new bugs in the security release smaller.

So, I'm sorry if it looked like inactivity to you, but in fact the team
is working.
