In bugtracker, there is a possible solution
    http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=11802

I don't know yet, if this patch really helps in this situation:
it simply adds a content-length header to the XML.

This should never hurt, but might solve the problem ...

But this must be tested with TER:
Who is able to test this patch in a dev-installation of  TER ?
