[TYPO3-dev] Database compare in 4.2.10 install tool broken?

Another update on this issue:

By now I've also upgraded the 4.1 installations to 4.1.3 on the same server, and 
there is no problem with the install tool there.

The problem with the 4.2.10 install tool still persists.
