Well - if you take a closer look, you will notice that it already supports
"subcategories", which is what it always did, because tags can be tagged as
well as any other record.
The current version can also be set to the so called "DESCRIPTOR" mode,
which will work as a two level tagging system, with level1-tags available
for records and level2-tags available for tags only.
