[TYPO3-dev] htmlCrop for stdWrap

Sorry for crosspost, but i posted it in mistake in typo3.teams.core and 
hope this time its in the correct group. So here is my post:

Hi everyone,

i would like to surgest a method htmlCrop in stdWrap.

Many times i come accross the problem, that i want to crop something
but first need to remove html tags, because else the are counted
into text and will unfortunatly get cropped to.
So a method htmlCrop that respect tags around text will come in
handy to have cropped the text and build the tags around again.

What do you think about that?
