I knew the "why" but was wondering why TYPO3 is still doing this that 
way. The "not-nice-for-editors" way...
;)

If there's a way to keep the compatibility but change the "visible 
behavior", that would be better for editors.

Since I do most of the training here I always reassure people that it's 
not a bug but they don't always believe me or forgot when 6 months later 
they have to change passwords and get confused.
