Use the object in all places like this:

$myStuff = new returnContent();
$myStuff->main();

and
$myStuff->imageMagickConvert($image,'jpg','270');

etc

Don't mix class::method() with $object->method(). In case of stdGraphic:
forget t3lib_stdGraphic::method().
