thought so too ;-)

As only a third of my TYPO3 installations are with multiple languages, I 
use the PageTSConfig ("TCEFORM.pages....disabled = 1") to hide the fields.

Anyway, what I would *really* like to see is a checkbox in the installer 
to say: "Use Multiple Languages" which should be unchecked by default. 
Once it is on, all the fields in the Backend should be shown, otherwise 
they shouldn't be displayed at all in my opinion.
