[TYPO3-dev] Advanced page type: "Show content from this page instead" question

folks,
I like this "Show content from this page instead" feature of Advances 
page type and interested to see if it is possible to pass a PID of a 
page to show content from during the runtime, let's say from tempalte 
typescript.
Image that you have multiple pages content from which should be rendered 
depending on some url segment value (using realurl)

possible? and if you see a solutino could you give me clue for where to 
look in
