[TYPO3-dev] negative timestamps and PHP

Hi!

Negative timestamps we a big no no for some time. One reason was that it 
didn't work on Windows. But this is since PHP 5.1 not true any more.

Are there any other reasons? If not we can safely store our birth dates - 
or the birth dates of our parents ;-) - in standard TYPO3 date fields. 
AFAIK only a few changes mainly/only in JS are needed.
