[TYPO3-dev] Add a dropdown box to BE plugin

Hi

Im building an extension with 2 tables. One with records(employees) and 
one with categories(department).

Of course you can create categories and then assign a record to a category.

My problem is: How do I add a dropdown with categories to the BE-plugin?

I know its probably not an easy thing to do, but can someone point me in 
the right direction?
