[TYPO3-dev] Adding BE columns from extension ?

these are for alt_doc.php (generic file for every record type) and 
db_layout.php (QuickEdit mode of the standard page module), which are 
editing for individual records of Typo3 (db_layout.php only for 
tt_content records). They are not used elsewhere, AFAIK.

If you don't see them in editing content element using those files,
you have something wrong in your TCA.
