Hi!
Currently you may set page permissions on each page records. Therefore you
may set different permissions for each WS *.
This may or may not be welcome. Trouble is that it seems that the
permissions are copied along when you publish/swap versions. This is IMHO
definitely not welcome and a bug. I think that either the page permissions
have to be same for all WS or that the permission have to be "sticky".
With "sticky" I mean that publishing a page into LIVE does not copy the
page permissions (unless the page does not exist in LIVE), ie they stick to
the WS.
Any opinions which way is best?
a) copy with version (current behaviour)
b) same for all WS
c) separate for WS's
My view:
To me c) is the most flexible, with the disadvantage of added
administration overhead. b) is the most easy with the bonus that there
could be a switch to change from b) to c) via a TYPO3 configuration
setting. a) is IMHO simply a bug.

* But there is a bug in web>access with recursive setting (#3666 and #3252)
