I have a solution for this problem.

Download the T3X: kb_popuplinkWrap from here:

http://think-open.org/kraftb/index/T3X_kb_popuplinkwrap.t3x

and then add some TS like the following to your setup:

http://paste.think-open.org/2a8ZSf


This allows you to separately define an image for the popup image.
