[TYPO3-dev] hook for adding/removing files in TCE?

hi list,

im looking for a hook for the file copy/delete process to the upload
directory when files are linked in a record in the backend (e.g. images
are added to a tt_news article).
i found that processing of that files is done in
t3lib_tcemain->checkValue_group_select_file(), but it seems there is no
hook yet. any suggestions?
