Personally I don't have a DB crashing (just soe other things but that 
doesn't effect nmy site)

But if you have read my post before (clearly you didn't)
I said that we should have a better method of showing a static page that 
something was wrong...
instead of the default DB connection error.

You could do this:
1) Solve it if you have the knowledge
2) Sponsor somebody to fix it for you (make sure that person will 
communicate this with core devs)

I don't think we are not. We just realize it's not always easy to add 
something to core.
We need to be carefully for backwards compatibility, some of the 
strongest points of T3.
which is also making T3 complex..
