I do not think so.
The flexformdata can be found in $this->cObj->data['pi_flexform'] inside 
of an extension. It does not get called config and comes from the 
tt_content's table and the field pi_flexform.
I think this is the whole config of the page. You would need only the 
extension's part of it.
