Hi,
first of all to Stanislas: Thank you very much for all the things you do
for Typo3!
I'd like to test DirectMail 2.0 - but i can't install it correctly. I'm
not sure if it'a bug in the software or a bug in the user (me), cause
it's the first time I'm using CVS. If it's a bug, I'll report it to the
bugtracker - if I used the CVS the wrong way - please tell me. What I did:
Download the folder tx_directmail via WinCVS on my local Computer.
Upload the file via FTP to my Webserver into typo3conf/ext. Then
installed the Extension in the T3-Backend - ignored the Warning, that
4.0 RC1 is lower than the recommended 4.0, then saw a Form with some
options to chose - did change nothing - and after pressing "OK" I get:
Warning:
main(/html/typo3conf/ext/tx_directmail//res/scripts/class.tx_directmail_select_categories.php):
failed to open stream: No such file or directory in
/html/typo3conf/temp_CACHED_ps756e_ext_tables.php on line 2332
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required
'/html/typo3conf/ext/tx_directmail//res/scripts/class.tx_directmail_select_categories.php'
(include_path='.:/usr/share/php/pear:./usr/share/php/pear/PEAR') in
/html/typo3conf/temp_CACHED_ps756e_ext_tables.php on line 2332
After that, the whole backend doesn't work anymore. I had to delete the
directmail-Folder and temp_CACHED Files to get access to my backend again.
BTW: I tried the same with renaming the tx_directmail folder to
directmail - same Result.
Can anyone help?
