[TYPO3-dev] Content type PHP Script and html rendering

Folks,

Sorry for this noob question...

In some pages I inlcude a phpscript which does a SQL query. The result 
is replacing \n by <br/>.

Unfortunately it seems that html tags are being filtered somewhere. What 
I want to do is having some formated text out of a database record.

Thanks for any hints.
