Apart from the fact that the ext is essentially a five-minute-hack, and 
does not work with the new EM, where else would you remove the files 
other than on upload? It's no use to put the whole .svn or CVS stuff in 
the tarballs on TER. The only problem with that concept was that on 
updating your dotfiles are lost because the old EM deletes/installs 
instead of updating the files.

Karsten, does EM2 still not strictly update but erase/new?
