[TYPO3-dev] Why Info module can't be extended?

I didn't find any way to extend the Info module.
I would nice to extend it.

most important functions in index.php comes from

require_once (PATH_t3lib.'class.t3lib_scbase.php');

that can't be extended - no XCLASS support
