Thanks, setting charset to utf-8 make the FCE works. I normally is using 
iso-8859-1 on all installations (most used in Norway). iso-8859-1 has the 
character æ, ø, å in the charset. But it looks like I have to use utf-8 on 
this server. I know there are some issues with php 5.0.4 and iso-8859-1.
