I'm not sure to ha understood well but i think i've got it in French 
too, not in the HTML template but in the DS XML content, if i use some 
specific french characters (é,è,...) for labels. It's an UTF "mistake". 
Simply convert your special character to the UTF equivalent and it works.
For example : if i need the french word "clé" (which means key), i have 
to write "clé"... and it works.
