[TYPO3-dev] returnUrl:how to connect through?

Hi,

In my TCA i got a field which lists related records via userFunc.
It also provides the opportunity to edit the particular related record 
directly by offering an "edit link".
Everthing works fine besides this:
- i open a record from list mode
- switch to the "related record" tab.
- Click edit record -> - <record opens>
- click close -> <i am back on the parent record>
- click close again -> blank page.

It seems that i missed something returnUrl related but 
i am not able to figure out what exactly.

Perhaps someone of you can bring me on the right path ;)
