Hi!
I just installed a testserver with the apache typo3 3.8.1 package on my
local machine. After that, i deleted all database tables from typo3
3.8.1 and deleted the whole typo3 folder. Then i copied my
productionserver files and databases to the server on my computer.
(production server has 3.8.0) After that i tested if everything works
fine. It did.. Then i just copied the Typo3 4 beta 3 source package on
my 3.8.0 testserver. Everything went wrong :)
Well, first of all, the install script always asks me for a new
password. The other things are fine there. I looked in the update
section and was surprised, that it wants to emulate 3.8.1 and not 3.8.0.
(you know, i just removed everything from 3.8.1.. It should be 3.8.0
now..)
Ok.. I wondered and wanted to look into the FE.. Result: Database error
"Warning: mysql_fetch_assoc(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL
result resource in C:\apache\htdocs\contents\t3lib\class.t3lib_db.php on
line 796"
Ok.. hm.. what could i do? I first thought that i could do something in
the BE.. So i opened that, but there the same error occurs not once, but
5 times on nearly every main page :-/
By time i noticed, that every Typo3 BE pagetree has some php database
errors more. Several functions that get invalid MySQL result resources..
Well, i don't know what that means, because with my database everything
should be fine.
I also tried to recopy all the files, but that did not work either.
So my questions:
What have i done wrong?
What should i do?
Wait for help
Go to other lists and ask there
Write a bug report
Try everything again
Confront my head with the next wall :)
You have one joker.. ;)
Greets
Andreas
