OK, I've got a solution for integrating a "remember me" checkbox with 
the newloginbox extension.  It requires an XCLASS extension of 
tslib_feUserAuth (no hook would handle this).  If anyone is interested 
in this feature, I can post the code snippets, because I'd like some 
input.  It isn't terribly complex, but that doesn't mean I couldn't have 
missed something.

(Also, I hope that this isn't negated by changes in 4.0... :P )
