Franz, I plan to completely revamp the install tool after 4.0 is out, 
because it needs some attention, and it's a likely candidate for bigger 
changes in UI and functionality. And it can be changed without touching 
too much of the core.

Of course, some hover CSS should not be to difficult ;)
