[TYPO3-dev] how are external links handled ?

Hi there !

I'm using 4.0 beta2 from cvs and realurl 1.0 from ter and noticed
that even links from pages of type "external link" are handled by 
realurl... the result is, that the links do not point to the external
site but to the "external link" page which is of cause empty...

so i had a look into the source to understand whats going on but did
not find any code related to ext url handling... (i looked into
realurl and t3lib.tstemplate). 

did i search on the wrong place or is this a bug?
