[TYPO3-dev] PHP 5.2.0 does not work with TYPO3

I am using PHP 5.2 with suhosin-patch applied and an out-of-the-box
version. Both of them work wonderfully with TYPO3 except for the tt_news
plugin which produces only blank pages upon trying to edit it in the BE.

The mentioned memory bug of PHP 5.2 is already fixed in CVS as mentioned
on the PHP bugtracker.
