The most appropriate place is "tx_yourextname" top level object in page
TSconfig.

you may also try playing around with "mod.web_modules".

Retrieving the value in module:
$PageTSconfig = t3lib_BEfunc::getPagesTSconfig($this->pObj->id);
$yourParam = $PageTSconfig['tx_yourextname.']['parameter'];
