Well I tried to break down all the changes I would make to the BE Web > Page
view and there were too many to include on bugs sensibly and especially
without some sort of wider peer review.

Each one being a cumulative change to a cleaner more consistent interface
for this particular view.

This thread might be a start but I think some of these BE user design
features needs to be a part of a wider more detailed process of ideas
generation and evaluation.

As Kasper recently said we need to be sure it will actually work better for
all target users instead of just shifting the layout to please a small
group now and causing difficulties to others.

That said, any effort to make the layout more consistent with other TYPO3
ways of working I am sure will improve the interface and allow greater
control later on for a full BE rebuild.

It ain't actually broke at the moment just a bit confusing and inconsistent
until you work with it and get used to it, contributing to the overall
impression that TYPO3 is difficult for new users.
