Not easy-as-clicking-a-button but fair enough if you are able to set up 
an Oracle DB I guess.

No core hacking but using DBAL which is supposed to work out of the box 
in 4.0. So you can either wait for that and probably be able to use the 
install tool, or be brave and see

If you want to go Oracle-only, a few hops are required because you need 
to install some extensions in a non-running TYPO3 installation. If you 
only need some tables to run in Oracle, it should be fairly easy.

See how far you can get and ask again for specific advice.
