[Typo3-dev] Meet Gabriel - scheduling engine for TYPO3

Hi,

for use in the workflow extensions messaging functionality i have created
gabriel, a scheduling engine that lets other extensions register events to
be executed at a specific and/or recurring time.

I'm hoping this can be a general utility for scheduling, allowing extensions
to rely on that, and not requiring users tohave a cron job for every
extension needing it.

it can be found in typo3xdev CVS repository at sourceforge in the module
tx_gabriel

Feedback and ideas are very much welcome.
