If it comes to feelings and wishes - here are my less than a cent (as 
normally only dev-reader):

Make a good Prelease this year, enjoy Christmas, fix some bugs 
afterwards, go snowboarding and than release a stable 4.0 with new CI 
and Big Bang ...
