[Typo3-dev] Looking for (study-) project

I totally agree that the current backend could really benefit from some 
AJAX.  Since so many page reloads are only for incremental updates, I 
think we could speed up loading quite a bit.

Several people have mentioned the page tree as a good place to implement 
it, so I'm willing to put some time into creating a proof of concept of 
AJAX with the page tree.

Anyone else want to join in?  My knowledge of the inner workings of the 
  backend is a little limited...
