Not only do we have too many options in the "all configuration" page.
It would be better anyway, if all TYPO3 installations would 
*consistently* offer an update for *every* change of the extension.

The reason for this is, that I think bugs of extensions caused by 
something as little as a misspelled variable name should be resolved in 
a patchlevel version.
Although this small change is nothing revolutionary, it is an IMPORTANT 
little fix and should be offered as an update by the extManager on ALL 
TYPO3 installations.

So: Don't make this configurable but make the extManager consistently 
offer ALL new versions for update.
