I would also vote for enabling it by default ... Did ask myself how I can install
an extension with just a new patchlevel ...until now always downloaded a T3X from typo3.org...
I agree partly that the "all Configuration" page is too big ... It is true that there
are many options to set but I think this richdom of configuration possiblities is one
thing which speaks FOR typo3. I would rather prefer to change some settings via a well
defined interface than setting some default variables in a php file ...
Pherhaps it would be nicer if the page is split up in its "supparts" GFX, EXT, SYS etc ...
this would make the single page not look so overwhelming.
