[Typo3-dev] Can you include an Java application in typo3?

Hello!

We think about using typo3 as CMS but we have some backend Java applications
that must be included in our homepages.

Now the question is if and how is it possibile to integrate these Java apps
easily in typo3? Possibly with an extension over XML, but how?

Have anybody any ideas or examples to this issue? Google doesn't had an
answer for me :-((
