Extension offers a new menutype called "Google Sitemap".
Create a new page, select sitemap as content element and then "Google
Sitemap". Set a startpoint as you could provide different sitemaps for
your url [1]
Publish you sitemap to Google:
www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=sitemap_url
If you have realurl installed make sure that this page is in root of
your homepage otherwise you get problems with Google indexing the pages [1]
At the moment the only tags that are supported:
<loc> and <lastmod>
as these are available be default. It should be discussed if it makes
sense to include the others.
Example: http://www.4many.net/googlesitemap.html
Comments and suggestions highly appreciated. Manual writer welcome.
Regs. Peter.
