[Typo3-dev] BE login problem after upgrade to 3.8.0

Hi list

I have upgraded my development site yeasterday ( 3.7.0 -> 3.8.0 ).
After the upgrade no BE user can login.
The instalation is on Linux ,so there are separate source directories for each version, symlinked
to the main installation using "typo3_src"  directory ( according to installation documentation ).
When i switch "typo3_source" symlink back to "typo3_source-3.7.0" BE login works OK.
The same ( BE login works ) is for 3.8.0-dev ( development snapshot before 2 month ) version.
I have looked inside /typo3/index.php file and there are differences between 3.8.0 and 3.8.0-dev/3.7.0 concerning password challenging.
I see the install parameter  "loginSecurityLevel" responsible for that, but with all possible values written into this parameter, BE login problem on 3.8.0 still exist.. By the way, the parameter description says that the "superchallenged" method is hardcoded.
Does anybody meet the same problem ?
