I'm sure there will be 3.8.1 but it's yet to be decided if there will be a
need for 3.7.2. Currently I don't think this is needed. Let's see...

About the release policy: Probably it exists in some peoples (e.g. my own)
head, but it's not yet written to a paper I guess.

Development should happen _only_ in HEAD, so the release branches will only
get backports of previous changes.

That's the plan, and it worked fine for 3.7 so far...
